How to use it
Place the residence pattern
Choose the first home and a simple rhythm, then review exceptions rather than assuming every holiday follows the school-term pattern.
Add real coverage hours
Enter the hours that require care for each weekday, independently from where the child stays overnight.
Name every handoff
Add camp, family and parent availability with confirmed or provisional status and a pickup responsibility.
Worked example
Example: Home B week, coverage required 08:30–18:00, camp confirmed until 16:30. Result: 16:30–18:00 still needs a named solution.
Residence and coverage are different layers
The overnight home answers one question. Work hours, activity end times and transport answer another. Keeping them separate prevents a colored calendar from hiding a practical gap.
Review before sharing
Check official school dates, current registrations and any parenting agreement. CampGrid helps organize information; it does not change legal arrangements.
